Example: combining a cover letter and resume

Say you have cover-letter.pdf and resume.pdf as two separate files and need to email them as one attachment. Choose both files (or drag them in together) — they appear in the file list in the order they were added. If the resume landed first, click the ↑ arrow on the cover letter to move it above the resume. Click Merge PDFs, then download merged.pdf, which now opens with the cover letter as its first page followed by the full resume.

Tips for merging PDFs

File order in the list is the order in the output — fix it with the up/down arrows after adding files rather than re-selecting them in a different order.
The Merge PDFs button stays disabled until at least two files are loaded, and the tool accepts up to 20 files at 50MB each in one batch.
A password-protected or corrupted file fails to load and is reported separately ("N files couldn't be read") without blocking the files that did load.
Pages are copied with pdf-lib's page-copying API rather than being re-rendered, so merging doesn't reduce image or text quality no matter how many files you combine.
