Example
Say you're filing an expense report and have three JPG photos of paper receipts plus one PNG screenshot of an email booking confirmation. Add all four files in any order — the tool accepts JPG and PNG in the same batch — arrange them with the up and down arrows, and click Generate PDF to combine them into a single document to attach to your report.
Each image is embedded using its own original format: JPG images stay JPEG-compressed and PNG images stay PNG inside the resulting PDF, so a mixed batch doesn't force your PNGs through a lossy re-encode. With Page size on A4 or Letter and Orientation on "Auto," each page's orientation is decided independently from its own image, so a tall receipt photo next to a wide screenshot each land on a correctly oriented page rather than being forced to match.
Tips
- You can freely mix JPG and PNG in the same batch — the file type is detected automatically per image, so there's no separate setting to switch between formats.
- With "Fit to image," each page is sized to match only that page's own image, so mixing a tall receipt photo with a wide screenshot produces pages of different shapes back to back rather than one uniform page size.
- Use "Auto" orientation with A4 or Letter if your batch mixes portrait and landscape images — it matches each page's orientation to that specific image instead of applying one orientation to the whole document.
- The batch limit is 30 images at up to 15MB each, shared across both formats — for example, 20 JPGs and 10 PNGs together still counts as 30.
