What is Extract PDF Pages?
Extract PDF Pages pulls out just the pages you need from a longer PDF and combines them into one new document, keeping the original page order and quality. It's handy for sharing a single chapter, an appendix, or a specific set of forms without sending the whole file.

When to use this
Say a 12-page vendor report only needs pages 8 through 10 sent to a colleague as their own document. Type 8-10 into the range box and click Apply range, or click those three thumbnails directly. Click Extract Pages and download the result — a single 3-page PDF containing just those pages, in their original order. This is different from Split PDF: Extract Pages always merges your selection into one new file, while Split PDF can produce several separate files.
Tips for extracting pages
- Selected pages always come out in their original document order in the new file, regardless of the order you clicked them in.
- You can combine methods — type a range to make a rough selection, then click individual thumbnails to add or remove specific pages before extracting.
- Select All followed by manually deselecting a few pages is often faster than clicking many individual thumbnails on a long document.
Is Extract PDF Pages safe?
Yes. Your selected page indexes are read locally and copied into a new document with pdf-lib, so the source PDF is never uploaded — only the pages you picked ever get written into a downloadable file.
