Worked Example
Find sale price: Original price ₹1,600, discount 35%.
You save = 1600 × 35/100 = ₹560

- This calculates one discount at a time. For a stacked discount like "20% off, then an extra 10% off," run the first discount, then feed its sale price back in as the original price for the second discount — applying both rates to the original price at once overstates the total saving.
- In "Find discount %" mode, the sale price can never be entered higher than the original price, since a markup isn't a discount — the tool blocks that combination with an error instead of showing a negative percentage.
